Live frugally and be proud of it! What is a frugalista? It's a new word, according to Oxford dictionary (2008): person who leads a frugal lifestyle, but stays fashionable and healthy by swapping clothes, buying second-hand, growing own produce, etc.

Our Family's tips on being frugal

1. Simplify your life
2. Be satisfied with what you have
3. Take care of the pennies, and the dollars will follow
4. Buy things that have more than one use
5. Before you buy, ask: "Do I really NEED it?"
6. If you buy something, ask: "Will it be out of fashion, or sold at a garage sale?"
7. Being environmentally friendly has economic benefit also
8. Never ever stop being charitable (misery is a letter different from miserly)
9. Don't give into the materialistic mentality.
10. Never think payment, always think total cost.
